I just found this site today (10/2) and it was so fun to get to  learn some info before we all meet in a few days. Roger and I have been married 35 yrs and have been in Indy for 37 yrs. We met when we attended SIU C'dale in the 70's. We have been blessed with 2 wonderful sons who got engaged and married all within the past 15 months. WHEW! Unfortunately, we have no family here in the state but keep busy traveling around the country visiting everyone when time allows. Looking forward to our gathering! GO COLTS!

I lost my Jim almost 2 years ago.  We were married for 37 wonderful years and have 3 great kids!  My 3 grandsons are the light of my life, and I'm finally getting a granddaughter in Sept.  I'm lucky that all my kids live close, so I see them all every week.

After working for 14 years as a reporter, and later copy editor, for the Granite City Journal, the Granite City Press-Record and the St. Louis Globe-Democrat, I married Michael Hillmer, reference librarian at Six Mile Regional Library District.  (I retained my maiden name.)  I had my "only" child at age 40.  He is a senior at GCHS this year, making his senior year Homecoming the same as the 40th Homecoming Anniversary for the Class of 1967!

I switched gears and was employed as a bookkeeper for Lombardi Furnture and Interiors for several years, but for the past 10 years have worked as a K-8 school secretary.  Life never stops changing, does it.

I envy those now enjoying retirement.

I retired early as an Assistant Vice-President from a Trust Company in St. Louis and am doing fine.  I have two grown children - a daughter and a son who are both doing very well in life.  My son has given me three beautiful grandchildren - Alec, 8 - Andrew, 4 - and Allison, 20 months.  Of course, they are my joy.   I live alone with my little dog, Zoe, who is my pal.
